Why we built this
Planning Poker Online started with a straightforward frustration. As a Scrum team, we needed to estimate user stories in real time during sprint planning. The existing tools either required everyone to create an account, displayed ads completely unrelated to our work, or locked basic features behind a paywall.
We wanted something different: a clean, focused tool where you create a session, share a link, and start estimating in seconds. No sign-up forms, no credit card prompts, no banner ads about insurance or dating apps in the middle of a sprint planning session.
So we built it ourselves. Planning Poker Online launched in March 2026 as a free tool designed to stay free. It is built for teams who value simplicity and want to spend their time estimating, not configuring.
